James is a Director of James Hamilton Architects.

James became a Chartered Architect and a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 2006.  During his education he gained a commendation for his MSc in Computation Design and Architecture.

Prior to the completion of his degree James gained experience in the offices of Rick Mather and Nicholas Grimshaw. Subsequent to the completion of his MSc he worked in the offices of Foster and Partners, Seth Stein and Allies and Morrison.

James left Foster and Partners in 2004 and began work as an architect in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Since this time, James Hamilton Architects have expanded and now have projects on site in Ireland and England.

Tom Greenfield is a Director of James Hamilton Architects.

Tom graduated from the Oxford School of Architecture and attained his chartership whilst working for London-based, architectural firm HTA Design. He moved to the Islands in 2016, bringing with him great experience in residential architecture and urban design; he considers sustainability to be at the heart of all of his design work.

Tom is currently working on a wide range of projects and has previously worked on the Wymara Villas project and a 10 storey hotel project in Grace Bay.

Tom’s interest in sustainable architecture has led him to gain an associateship with BREEAM (British version of LEED).  Tom is driven to innovate within practice and utilises his extensive experience in using Building Information Modelling (BIM).  Tom has been responsible for executing these skills on large hotel projects, in the Turks and Caicos.

Outside of work, Tom loves to sail, kiteboard, attempts to golf, organizes a monthly lecture series and plays rugby at International level for the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Mario Henry is a qualified Building Thermographer.

Mario joined James Hamilton Architects in 2009 and offers technical support on a wide range of activities within the practice.

In his spare time, Mario has an active role in his local church and the wider community. He enjoys walking and tinkering with old computers.

Debbie Lee has been assisting James Hamilton for several years.

During her time Debbie has become a much valued aide and supporting member of our team. Outside of work Debbie is a dedicated grandmother and is often organizing family events.

Yojanobi Languaso is an Architect at James Hamilton Architects.

He has worked at the practice since 2011.  Prior to joining the practice he worked on the Aman Resort, in the Turks and Caicos Islands, called the Amanyara.  He was employed, by the contractor, to assist in the development of several private Villas.

He gained his architectural education at the University of Catolica Nordestana in the Dominican Republic.

Specialising in BIM coordination, he now leads our technician and production team.

Much of his time outside of work is spent with his young family. However, in his spare time he pursues his passion for automotive design and motor racing.

Graduated from Queens University Belfast with a BSc in Architecture (RIBA Part 1). Rolandas joined the practice in 2020 and has helped in 3D modelling, surveying, and visualization.

He enjoys reading blogs on parametric modelling in his spare time.

Jorge Adames is an Assistant Architect at James Hamilton Architects.

His architectural education was gained at the University of Catolica Nordestana in the Dominican Republic.

His passion outside of practice is following baseball, specifically the New York Mets. Jorge is also a talented baseball player himself and plays regularly in the outfield.

He gained his degree in BSc Architecture and Environmental Design (RIBA Part 1) at the University of Westminster, and is currently completing his MArch Architecture (RIBA Part 2) at Queen’s University.

Valentin is passionate about environmental and parametric design, and has a keen interest in the refurbishment of historical and existing dwellings.
